Training Library 2024/25

Autism Awareness

This course was produced in conjunction with the Autism Education Trust (AET) who are a not-for-profit organisation and the only Department for Education supported providers of fully co-produced autism training for the education workforce.

The course aims to provide awareness on what autism is and re-explain many misconceptions, and the challenges autistic people can face, particularly in an education environment. We also provide some useful tips and approaches that may be enabling for autistic children and young people, and help to create a culture of inclusion in your education setting.

This course has a mix of short videos, written information and questions to consolidate learning. It should take around 1 hour to complete.
