New content Introduction to SEND

The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in schools and covers legislation and guidance on various different needs, with advice on how to recognise and manage them.

The course looks at strategies that can be used to make the school environment more suitable for pupils with SEND and to ensure they thrive.

The course includes multiple-choice questions and case studies to consolidate learning.

This course should take approximately 60 minutes to complete.
